A prefab uPVC dormer is built to size in the factory after measuring, then lifted onto the roof by crane and installed in a single day. The home is wind- and watertight again that same day; the interior finishing follows shortly after.
Expect € 6,500 to € 11,000, depending on width, window layout and glazing. uPVC cladding never needs painting — periodic cleaning is enough.
Check the quote covers measuring, crane, installation, interior finishing and VAT. On the rear side a dormer is often permit-free within the national rules; the builder advises on this.
